Join us as we paddle and observe one of nature's wonders and learn about how these nocturnal creatures help create a better ecosystem for all of us.

Meeting Location

We will meet under the I35 overpass off of East Ave in a parking lot/docking area by the water. A good address to plug into your maps is “7 East Ave” which will take you directly to the overpass!


Important information

  • Combined weight limit of 450 lbs. per paddle board. If you are over that, we can separate you onto 2 paddle boards.

  • If a child is old enough (6+) to sit on the paddle board safely on their own, regardless of paddling, then they must pay for their own seat. An adult must go with a child.


What to wear

Please wear comfortable clothing, yoga pants, swimsuit, light layered clothing and flip flops, water shoes or shoes you don’t mind getting wet.

Sunglasses, sunscreen and a hat are a great for sun protection.


What to bring

Bring a small towel to throw over your lap or dry off with if you want to go for a swim (sometimes you get wet from paddling). Bring water or we have bottled water for purchase.

Getting to your paddleboarding spot at least 30 minutes before sunset ensures optimal lighting and bat activity viewing.

Observe bats from a safe distance and avoid loud noises to not disturb their natural behavior.
