On this two-day self-guided trip from Bogesund Nature Reserve, paddlers trade city sound for wind on open sea and the hush of oak meadows. The shoreline here holds traces of human presence for a millennium—Viking farmsteads once worked these fields—and the bedrock is ancient Baltic gneiss, scoured smooth by ice and sea.

No prior experience is required, but you should be comfortable paddling for several hours; the operator provides a safety and navigation briefing.
Two-person canoe, paddles, life jackets, drybags, tent, sleeping bags, camping mattress, Trangia stove and basic cookware, map, compass and briefing.
Follow local fire bans and private property rules—Sweden’s allemansrätt allows camping but not on cultivated land or in private gardens; use provided stove where open fires are restricted.
