Advanced beginners and intermediate surfers who can confidently paddle out the back and catch green waves will really enjoy themselves on this trip. Crowds are low, the waves mellow. It’s reasonably easy to get out back.

The mid north coast of Australia is a stunning location, and Pacific Palms is one of the most beautiful areas in the region. With its crystal-clear water, golden sand beaches, and lush green hinterland, it’s a paradise for surfers, nature lovers and adventurers.

At Salty Safaris, we offer a unique surfing experience that combines the thrill of riding waves with the relaxation and rejuvenation of being in nature. Our weekend surf camp is designed to cater to all levels of surfers, from beginners to experienced riders. Our experienced coaches will provide tailored coaching to help you improve your skills and confidence in the water.

The trip will depart from Bondi Junction on Friday afternoon at 5 pm, allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and head straight to the beach. The 3-hour drive up the coast is a scenic journey through picturesque coastal towns, and before you know it, you’ll be arriving at our accommodation, nestled in the heart of Pacific Palms.

Once we arrive, we’ll start with a welcome dinner before settling in for the night. The following two days will be packed with surf sessions, with two per day, each with a mix of film coaching and in-water coaching. We’ll also incorporate breath work, mobility and surf skate training into our program, to help you improve your surfing technique and overall physical fitness.

In the afternoons, we’ll enjoy a cold drink and relaxing by the fire at sunset. We’ll have group dinners each night, where we’ll share stories and experiences, and get to know each other better.
