Hike Overview -
This hike was designed to showcase the best views in the Hudson Valley. The trail starts with a steady climb — about half of the route is uphill — but the incline is moderate and the payoff is worth every step.
Expect rocky terrain with a few short sections where you’ll need to scramble with your hands for balance. Once you reach the Beacon Fire Tower, you’ll be rewarded with a full 360° panorama of the Hudson Valley. On clear days, you can even spot the distant New York City skyline.
