Once the shrimping net is in place the deckhand will give you a guided tour of the shrimping and seafood industry from its beginnings to present day. Once the net is brought back into the boat. The Captain and deckhand will sort through the catch and explain each species of sea-life caught in detail.
You will also see other marine life not caught in the net, such as dolphins, pelicans and seagulls and you might get to see a sea turtle as well. Once the sea-life is explained in detail they are placed in an aquarium for you to get an up close and personal look at the creatures. At the end of the tour the Captain will let you know where to purchase your fresh shrimp as well as the local owned restaurants that serve Gulf Fresh Seafood.
Light waterproof gear and sun protection are recommended for comfort on the water.
