About

This all-day experience is the ultimate exploration of Killarney and the Reeks in Co. Kerry. This tour will take you along the narrow, winding, single-track mountain passes around the heart of the McGillicuddy Reeks, stopping at atmospheric ruins and exploring scenic valleys that were formed during the ice age, as well as the road along the shoreline and woodland beside the lakes of Killarney in the National Park. If you chouse the later strting time we finish around sunset and dusk where we’ll choose a location to capture the soft and colourful light of the evening.

There’s generally pickup and meeting points along the road from Dingle to Killarney. There’re so many locations and places to visit as well as all the wonderful vistas to take in along the way, so during a 9 hour tour we can easily manage to explore 20 or more, different locations. This tour is designed to finish around sunset & dusk so start times vary over the year.

This is your own private tour with your choice of pickup location and starting time.

What to bring

  • Bring your camera, phone or absolutely any device that takes photos or simply sit back, relax and enjoy the tour
  • Bringing a packed lunch, snacks and drinks is recommended, although we’ll make a couple of stops for snacks, drinks and facilities during this tour, we’re well away from anywhere larger than villages with very basic shops.
  • There's generally a stop in Kenmare for a longer break and a chance to look around this charismatic town centre.
