About

Visiting Wellington's most iconic spots including Mount Vic lookout (hop out) , Lyall Bay beach, Weta Cave (hop out), a ride on the Cable Car, Parliament/Beehive & the Lady Norwood Rose Garden. Packing loads of goodness into your day hosted by one of our talented & sometimes funny hosts!

Itinerary Items

  • You will be collected from your central hotel, at the port or at the iSite
  • Cruise through the central city, your guide will explain some of the highlights as you go (e.g Museum Hotel)
  • Head up to the best vantage point in the city & we’ll hop out at Mount Victoria Lookout
  • We’ll make our way out towards Lyall Bay beach & take a leisurely wander around the spectacular Wellington coastline
  • View the area where the Wahine Disaster took place, NZ’s worst ever maritime disaster
  • Jump out & check out the Weta Cave, the Weta retail store & take advantage of some great photo opportunities
  • Head back into the city & jump in the Cable Car for a ride. All aboard!
  • Another great vantage point awaits at the top of the Cable Car, then we’ll head down to the Botanical Gardens
  • Now visit the very locations from where our country is run, Parliament buildings & the beehive Please note that the order of the itinerary may change
