The Banks is a post-industrial riverfront redevelopment that transformed former docks and rail yards into public spaces and entertainment districts beginning in the 1990s and 2000s.
Riverfront improvements include shoreline stabilization and public-awareness efforts; stay on paved paths and respect public art and plantings to reduce wear.
