You step off the main square into thin alpine air, smartphone lit and map ready, while slate roofs and shuttered chalets watch from narrow lanes. The bells of Valmeinier mark your launch as the app assigns a game code — two hours to find a hidden underground passage before the platform vanishes.

No advance reservation is required; the game is available for instant booking and you receive a unique game code per device when you start.
The operator lists wheelchair and stroller accessibility, but some cobbled streets and narrow passages may be uneven — check specific route areas if mobility is a concern.
The booking issues one code per device/team; groups typically play together with one phone controlling the experience, so small groups or large teams can divide into subteams if they prefer.
Language availability depends on the app interface; check the game instructions or operator link for supported languages before starting.
Valmeinier evolved from mountain farming and seasonal trade into a modern ski resort in the 20th century; the village retains traditional Savoyard architecture and local family names tied to the valley.
The village and surrounding alpine slopes are sensitive — stick to public streets and marked paths, pack out trash and avoid disturbing flora or wildlife during the game.
