About This Adventure

Join the Wild Things Self-Directed Learning Group, where children aged 6 and up explore and shape their own learning in a stunning woodland setting. With a focus on independence and inclusivity, participants engage in hands-on activities while enjoying nature. Prepare for adventure with waterproof clothing and a spirit of curiosity!

Wild Things Self Directed Learning group where everyone is able to take charge of their own learning journey. The group are actively involved in shaping the direction and running of the group.

  • over 8's can be dropped off.
  • We recommend water proof clothing and wellies all year round to keep the bugs and dirt out! For those who like to get really messy, a change of clothes for the way home might be needed.
  • Not having the right gear should never be a barrier to coming along, so please let us know if you want to borrow some spares.
  • Please bring a snack and a drink, its thirsty work in the woods!
  • This is an inclusive group and we actively try to overcome barriers to children accessing the group
