Experience an enchanting musical evening in Kyparissi, featuring Cretan and Greek melodies alongside international tunes. Enjoy the rich flavors of authentic Cretan cuisine and wines at Yannis Somarakis' renowned tavern, while being serenaded by talented musicians. This unforgettable night promises cultural immersion and delightful entertainment in a picturesque setting.
We present to you in the village of Kyparissi, 25 km from Heraklion, at the tavern or theatre of Yannis Somarakis, an unforgettable musical evening with mainly Cretan and Greek music, but also songs from America and Russia. Our musicians are Yannis Somarakis himself on the Cretan lyre and the well-known Cretan guitarist and composer Dimitris Zografakis.
Our program is as follows:
We will take you at 7.00 pm with our own transport from the Pankrition Stadium in Heraklion to the village of Kyparissi. Yannis' tavern is known throughout Greece for its rich menu and for the genuine Cretan wines and Cretan raki that Yannis produces and serves. At 9.00 pm our two-hour music program starts and around 11.00 pm we take you back to Heraklion.
The music evening can take place with at least 4 participants.
We speak Greek, English, German, Italian and Russian.
