Immerse yourself in the art of natural dyeing with this hands-on workshop, where you'll transform cotton and linen using food waste and local plants. Discover the history of natural dyes while preparing textiles and extracting vibrant colors. Enjoy a delicious vegetarian lunch as you connect with nature through creativity.
During the course participants will learn how to dye textiles such as cotton and linen, with food wastes, plants, flowers and roots from the Mediterranean bush. The workshops are an opportunity to experience a deep immersion in the natural world. During the workshop you will learn history and basis of Natural Dyes and dye the textiles by yourself. It includes textiles preparation, color extraction and textiles dyeing. Vegetarian lunch in between is provided.
