Manufactured from powder-coated steel, this carrier has a 300-pound weight capacity when all 4 bike slots are in use, and the 4-bike rack can support four bikes weighing a combined total of 120 pounds. The bike rack arm can be removed entirely or rotated 90 degrees and installed horizontally if you aren't transporting your bikes or want to store the carrier compactly. When the bike rack arm is removed or installed horizontally, the carrier can be folded up to reduce your vehicle's footprint. Rubber cradles on the bike rack attachment securely hold bikes without scratching the frames.
