Afterward, explore New Zealand's only castle, Larnach Castle, with its rich history, stunning gardens, and breathtaking views. A unique experience awaits, blending culinary delight with a journey through time.

About

High tea includes a selection of homemade sandwiches, scones and sweet fancies, and a pot of tea, all served on fine bone china.

Your ticket gives you entry to the Castle including the Tower, Ballroom Cafe, gift shop, Castle gardens, grounds, historic Stables and outbuildings. Informative brochure provided for self-guided tour of Castle, gardens and grounds; multiple languages available.

You are welcome to arrive earlier in the day to explore, before making your way to the Ballroom for your High Tea at your booked sitting time. Castle and Garden open from 9am daily. Sittings for High tea are available every 30 minutes from 1.30pm - 3.30pm.

With its exciting, sometimes scandalous and tragic history, magnificent carved ceilings, New Zealand antiques and breathtaking views, Larnach Castle offers you a vision of the past and present. Today, the Castle is the home of the Barker family, who have spent nearly 60 years lovingly restoring the building and recreating the beauty of the 14 hectares of gardens and grounds.
