The van eases out of downtown as lights bloom along the Ottawa River, and the city takes on a new rhythm — stately Parliament Hill glowing across the water, Nepean Point outlined against the sky. Your guide guides the narrative while the river dares you to slow down: the Rideau Canal slips by like a ribbon of reflected lamps as you board a short evening cruise and watch the city’s silhouette slide past.
