Osian was an important stop on medieval caravan routes and is known for its 6th–12th century Hindu and Jain temples carved in local sandstone.
The area is sensitive to water use and waste—choose operators that limit single-use plastics and follow leave-no-trace practices to protect fragile dune ecosystems.
