Sintra
We invite people to the farm located in the gorgeous mountain of Sintra for about 4 hours. We will start with sharing some fundamental principles of a sustainable manner to take care of the environment, which includes soil, water, insects, animals and of course, plantations. Then, we will have time to get down to business: get our hands dirty by planting new seeds, harvesting or taking care of plants. It will depend on what there is to do on that day!
We will finish our experience in the kitchen with our chef and farmers, we will learn a little about each food that will be used in the meal as well as how each dish is prepared!
After booking we will send all the details of the reservation, as well as the location and the contact of the farmer.
If you wish to propose another day or time for the experience, send me us a message and we will do our best to reschedule, or we can include one more experience for all day.
Expect moderate walking on uneven farm terrain—sturdy shoes will make planting and harvesting easier.
You’ll be outdoors working and cooking; staying hydrated throughout is key.
Sintra’s mountain weather can shift quickly—layering helps you adapt to sun and shade comfortably.
Share any allergies or preferences ahead of time so the chef can accommodate your needs during the cooking session.
