The Amador Causeway was constructed using rock excavated during the Panama Canal project, creating a human-made link of islands that reshaped coastal access near the canal entrance.
The coastal reefs and intertidal zones near the causeway are sensitive; avoid littering, respect signage, and minimize noise to reduce disturbance to seabirds and marine life.
