You choose: Adventure or relaxation? Journey into Tavernier Creek and slip into our mangrove tunnel for a true adventure paddle to the secret Lagoon. Or paddle out to a remote mangrove island to relax on the beach swing and wade in our knee-deep tropical waters.
Glide over clear, tropical waters, protected seagrass beds, and mangrove jungles that are home to hundreds of species of marine life including sponges, stingrays, nurse sharks and fishes. You’re likely to see many of the over 250 wading, fishing and song birds that live here, including herons, egrets, gulls, osprey and the magnificent frigate bird. Look hard in the mangrove branches and you may even spot bright green iguanas!
