About
Artists Colin and Kristine Poole had been following their respective creative paths since childhood, when in 2008, their paths converged in Santa Fe when Colin asked Kristine to dance a Tango. Married in Greece the following year, they combined their artistic talents to develop their current style of classically inspired contemporary realism. They are devoted to their study at museums around the world, making annual pilgrimages to draw inspiration from many diverse genres, artists and periods.
"In my sculpture, I find a voice that expresses ideas more powerfully and beautifully than I could do through any other means," muses Kristine. "Bringing the pictures from my mind into the tangible inspires and fulfills me and is a way I can understand and share myself."
