Adventure Tips

Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes

Closed-toe shoes protect your feet and provide better grip in the stirrups during the ride.

Bring insect repellent

The wooded areas and lakeside can attract mosquitoes, especially in warmer months, so insect repellent helps keep you comfortable.

Arrive 15 minutes early

Allow extra time to get fitted to your horse, go over safety guidelines, and meet your guide before the ride starts.

Stay hydrated

Bring a water bottle to stay refreshed, particularly on warmer days or if you plan to explore the museum grounds before or after the ride.
