You step off the curb into a street older than most nations: flagstones cool underfoot, shutters clack in the trade-wind, and color spills from painted facades. This three-hour walking tour threads through El Viejo San Juan with a historian at your shoulder, turning corners into chapters — plazas where merchants once bartered sugar, alleys that sheltered wartime stories, and a coastline that still smells faintly of salt and gunpowder.
