Morning light hits Highway 97 and the van hums westward — Victoria pines give way to dry hills and the first glint of Okanagan Lake. On this two-day route you trade the Pacific coast’s salt for orchard scents, vineyard rows, and a rail-trail that dares you to keep pedaling. Expect wide water views, exposed basalt and glacial gravel benches, and the small towns where fruit stands and tasting rooms open their doors.
