Embark on an unforgettable overnight fishing adventure targeting Cow Bluefin Tuna aboard the 58-foot Knott Exactly. Enjoy spacious accommodations, delicious meals, and top-notch gear while your experienced crew handles the details. Overnight - 22 Hours 1.5 Day - 34 hours 2 Day - 46 Hours 2.5 Day - 50 hours. (trip is always two to three hours early arriving to prepare next trip. does not affect fishing time and departure from tuna grounds. This is at dark regardless)

About

  • Our primary target for this overnight adventure will be Cow Bluefin Tuna aboard the 58 foot Knott Exactly. Sleep in your spacious bunk or watch a movie in the saloon on your way to the grounds and have confidence that your crew will take care of the rest.

We will Provide

  • Rainshadow Rods and Penn/Shimano Reels, Tackle, Live Bait (Sardines), Ice, All meals, Waters & Gatorades as well as fish cleaning at end of trip!
  • There will be cooler storage on the boat for any additional food and drink you bring aboard.
  • Captain will contact you 1-2 days prior to your trip to go over trip and checklist!

What you Need (based on the Charter selected)

  • California Fishing License, for any angler 16 years or older (must be valid for trip date). CA Fishing Licenses can be purchased near the marina.

  • Photo ID Mexican Fishing License for all trips entering Mexican waters, for all ages.

  • Additional Permits for Coronados Islands Trips: Valid Passports, Mexican FMM Tourist Visas, and Mexican Biosphere Bracelets are required for Coronados Islands and/or fishing within 12 miles from Mexican coastline. Fishing San Diego must purchase your group’s Permits and Tourist Visas for the Coronados Islands. Permit purchase is an online single application by the Operator of the vessel. Please contact us for more information.

What to Bring

  • Layered Clothing – wear or shed layers depending on weather conditions
  • Sun Protection – sunscreen, hats, polarized sunglasses, long-sleeved shirts
  • Cooler for your catch (please leave in your car).

Gratuity

  • Trip Rates do not include Crew Gratuity. While gratuity is never required, it is greatly appreciated if you choose to do so.
  • If you enjoy your trip and your captain’s hard-working service, tipping is a great way to thank your Crew. Fishing industry standard is 10-25%. Thank you!
