About This Adventure

Embark on a vibrant 3-hour bike tour through Nørrebro, Copenhagen's eclectic heart of alternative culture. Discover its rich history, diverse communities, and captivating street art. Visit unique sites like a time traveller’s grave and a heart made of guns, immersing yourself in the neighborhood's artistic and political spirit.

Duration: 3 hours

Discover diverse and colourful Nørrebro – Copenhagen's old working-class district and today’s heart of alternative culture. Learn about its eventful history, its politically engaged and multicultural inhabitants, and why it was recently deemed one the “coolest neighbourhoods in the world”.

This 3 hour bike tour will take you through one of Copenhagen’s liveliest districts. Nørrebro is home to people from all over the world, and is brimming with art, food, youth culture, and political history. Street art decorate many empty house facades where people love to stop by in second-hand stores, or relax on the streets over some beers and appreciate the many different food options this part of town has to offer.

Amongst many other things, you’ll learn why one particular housing ground has been empty for decades, you’ll visit a time traveller’s grave, hear the backstory of a heart made of guns, and cycle down the most frequented biking lane in town. If you want to get into the quirky and subcultural part of Copenhagen, this tour is a good start.

Join us for a tour through an alternative side of the Danish capital, and experience for yourself what this city has to offer besides palaces, churches, and fancy architecture. Let us show you the best of Copenhagen, one bike ride at a time!
