We will travel past the reef which is around five miles from shore and head to deeper water. The time for this trip varies depending on sea conditions and where the captain decides where waters are “fishy,” at which point lines will be put out in a trolling pattern.
This means the boat engines will be running and in gear in order to “swim” the baits behind the boat.
We will put 3 to 4 lines out with any combination of dead natural baits or artificial lures. When a fish hits, we will take the rod out of the rod holder and pass it along to the designated angler. This will be up to the charter party. If more than one fish hits, rods will be passed out as per the party.
All fishing regulations will be followed including size and number of fish limits and any seasonal closures. The captain will decide to move to different spots in order to find the fish. We will happily bait your hooks and dehook any fish you bring in. If they are keepers and you decide to keep them, they will promptly be put on ice.
