Join our Off-Roading 101 workshop every Saturday at 9am for a hands-on introduction to off-roading! In just one hour, learn essential vehicle operations, tire tips, recovery techniques, and trail etiquette. Perfect for beginners, this engaging session ensures you’re ready to tackle the trails with confidence and have fun!

New to Off-Roading? Have a new off-road vehicle and want to learn how to use it and where to start on our trails?

Come learn the BASICS of Off-Roading ANY SATURDAY at 9am. This hour-long workshop is for EVERYONE and is only $10 per vehicle. We do have limited space each week, so please let us know if you plan to join us by registering below.

OFF-ROADING 101 WORKSHOP:

There is a $10 registration fee for this workshop… in addition to our normal Park fees including Day-Use Trail Passes and any Camping fees. Our class starts at 9am. We’ll cover the basics of your vehicle as well as some common off-roading tips:

  • Four-wheel drive system operation, transfer cases, and 4-LO
  • Tire pressure, size, type, tread, and spare tires
  • Winching basics and recovery equipment
  • Wheeling with a group, communications, trail etiquette, spotters, and picking a line up the rock
  • What to bring on the trail with you
  • Bring your questions and concerns and we’ll discuss how to HAVE FUN Off-Roading!

Engage trail etiquette and safety protocols

Always yield to other vehicles and respect trail signage to keep everyone safe and ensure the trails stay open.
