The Z800 EX boasts a 60” wide stance allowing access to ALL trails, two bucket seats, all designed to take on the nastiest terrain. A 800cc, liquid cooled, 4 stroke, EFI engine powers through any mud, dunes, or rocks that get in the way.

Things to Know:

  • These machines are located off-site at our “on-trail” warehouse, which serves as a convenient park-and-ride facility. However, you must first check in at our main location, The Toy Shop of Eagle River, situated at 5045 State Highway 70. After completing the check-in process, you will need to drive 1.7 miles to our warehouse at 1133 Loon Lake Rd for a machine orientation. Parking is available at that location for your convenience. Please refer to your confirmation email for the address, and do not hesitate to contact us with any inquiries.
  • If you intend to trailer your machine to a different location, please reach out to us directly before making your reservation, as this option is subject to availability.
  • The minimum age requirement to rent or operate an ATV/UTV from The Toy Shop is 25 years.
  • Fuel is not included in the price; machines are provided with a full tank and must be returned full to prevent extra charges. -Failure to refuel will result in a service fee and the current local market rate for premium non-ethanol fuel per gallon being charged to the credit card on file. The Z800 Trail has a 9.8 gallon fuel tank using only non-ethanol (premium) gasoline.
  • It is your responsibility to clean the machines prior to their return; they are provided in a clean condition and must be returned in the same state to avoid additional fees.
  • We do not offer any type of insurance. Damages to the rental machine are the financial responsibility of the renter.

NEW for 2025:

  • Each renter is required to present a valid driver’s license and a credit card in their name at the time of pickup. Rental machine will only be released to the name on the reservation unless prior arrangements have been made by speaking directly to a Toy Shop staff member.

A $500 incidental deposit will be held on the credit card at check-in. If only a debit card is available, a $1000 incidental deposit will be held.

  • These deposits will be automatically released 72 hours after return of the machine IF the machine is returned without damages and full of fuel.
  • If there are additional fees incurred with the rental, it will be deducted from the damage deposit first.

Cancellations:

  • If booking online, you will be charged the entire amount of your reservation + a convenience fee up front. In the event of cancellation, $50 per item is non-refundable along with the reservation convenience fees. The remaining balance will be refunded to the card you used to book with.
  • A $50 non-refundable deposit per item is also necessary for direct bookings through The Toy Shop staff, but the remaining balance is not charged until check-in.

All deposits are strictly NON-REFUNDABLE, regardless of cancellation timing.

  • Reservations during holiday periods (May 22-25, July 1-5, & August 28-Sept 2) must be paid in full and are NON-CANCELLABLE. No exceptions will be made for holiday reservations.
  • Cancellations must be communicated directly with a Toy Shop staff member.
  • Cancellations via email, voicemail, or text will not be accepted.
  • Cancellations must occur at least 72 hours before the rental date to avoid forfeiting the entire rental cost.
  • Failure to cancel within the specified timeframe will result in the loss of the full rental amount.

Note:

State of Wisconsin ATV/UTV Regulations:

ATV and UTV operators born on or after January 1, 1988 must complete an ATV/UTV safety certification course in order to operate on public ATV/UTV trails and areas in Wisconsin. DNR Recreational Safety Specialist recommended all ATV and UTV operators complete a safety course.

If renter is born on or after the above date, they need to have a copy of their completed (and passed) ATV/UTV course safety certificate to rent a machine. A valid course can be found here: https://www.atvcourse.com/usa/wisconsin/
