The Lower Ocoee River, often referred to as the lazy river, is a laid back scenic float that can be enjoyed by the entire family. We provide the tubes and personal flotation devices and will send one of our expert guides along with you to keep you safe on your Ocoee River tubing adventure! The Lower Ocoee River is a calm stretch of river that is perfect for people of all ages. We also offer a guided raft option for those that do not wish to tube. This trip takes a total of approximately and hour and a half depending on the water flow.
There is no minimum age requirement. However, our personal flotation devices will accommodate children that weigh 50 pounds or more. If your child is less than 50 pounds you will need to bring an age and weight appropriate personal flotation device for them. Also, anyone under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult. This activity is subject to cancellation due to water release. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays we have a guaranteed water release from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM. For the rest of the week the Lower Ocoee is typically navigable by 4:00 PM.
Minimum group size of four people required for the trip to open for online booking. Once the minimum is met the trip will open for online bookings for singles or groups of less than four at the same time. For groups or less than four or if the trip is not currently bookable online please give us a call directly.
Life jackets are mandatory and provided, so wear them properly for safety on rapids.
Use waterproof bags or leave valuables behind; currents and splashes can easily wash items away.
Bring a bottle of water and drink plenty beforehand to stay energized during your adventure.
Be aware of weather updates, as sudden storms can affect river safety and water levels.
