Experience an exclusive two-hour horseback ride through Northland's stunning coastal hills, guided by an expert. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and ride to a secluded beach framed by Pohutukawa trees. This adventure is designed for advanced riders seeking a thrilling and picturesque escape in nature.

Take a private tour with one or two people per booking. Observe the vast pacific ocean from northland hill country, enjoy the sea breezes as you ride one of our beautiful horses to a private Pohutukawa fringed beach.
Embark through our unique Northland coastal hilly landscape with your own experienced guide, be rewarded by panoramic coastal views, and learn about the area. Reach stunning private Calm Bay, tucked away on the edge of the sea fringed by Pohutukawa trees. On the return home follow the same route to reach the stables and feel free to then enjoy sandy bay for an after ride swim!

Advanced Rider – Life-time rider, an experienced rider who is fit and has an independent seat with soft hands. Must be confident on a forward-moving horse at all gaits over rough and variable ground on open terrain. This ride has a number of steep hills and narrow tracks that require a confident rider. A good level of fitness is required for this trail. Must be able to mount and dismount without a mounting block.

Helmets will be supplied. If you would prefer to use your own gear or extras like gloves, please do so. Helmets are required on all rides. Saddles have safety stirrups, closed shoes.
