Pull a river trip permit? Want to practice setting up a multi-day rig? Getting into fishing? Oar rafting teaches you what you need to know to steer any size raft under your own power. Build oar skills and craft mastery on the river with lessons that put you in the driver’s seat.

Levels

  • Intro: goal is to develop water safety, equipment knowledge, and general paddling concepts
  • Intermediate: I understand the basics but now am working on the skills

What to bring

  • All necessary gear and safety equipment will be provided for each excursion free of charge
  • Other gear and safety equipment available for rent upon request
  • Please come wearing outdoor/athletic clothing (no cotton or jeans) and shoes with straps or laces that can get wet (no flip-flops)
  • Please bring your own water and snacks for all excursions.
