A highway morning: the city recedes in a wash of glass and horn, and the minivan’s hum replaces the subway’s hiss. Passengers settle into wide seats, luggage tucked beneath the raised roofline; through the window the landscape shifts from urban grid to tree-lined state routes, the Pocono ridges rising like slow waves daring travelers to pause.

2 hours.
No special fitness required; suitable for travelers of all abilities
The advertised run time is about two hours from central NYC to Mount Airy Casino, but traffic—especially around NYC and along I-80/PA routes—can extend travel time.
The XL minivan accommodates up to six passengers with space for multiple suitcases and carry-ons; soft bags are recommended for best fit.
This is a non-stop private transfer; scheduled service is direct to the casino entrance. Contact the operator before booking if you require a custom stop.
For a full refund cancel at least 24 hours before departure; cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable according to the standard policy.
The Pocono region developed as a leisure destination in the 20th century, expanding from small boarding houses to larger resorts and casino complexes that draw urban visitors in search of short escapes.
Drivers and passengers should minimize idling and consolidate group travel when possible; local trails and roadside areas rely on visitors to pack out trash and respect wildlife habitats.
Happy Shuttles Tour operates guided outdoor trips and adventures with an emphasis on safety, stewardship, and memorable experiences.
