About

Get lost in the thrill of navigating one of Colorado’s most difficult sections of commercially rafted river. You and your raft mates will paddle through several class III – class IV rapids over seven miles of Colorado whitewater. These rapids, which slip through a narrow and rocky section of the Arkansas River in Buena Vista, are so intense, they were numbered instead of named.

Our Numbers Half Day rafting trip is sure to keep even the most experienced rafters on their toes. It’s the ideal trip for guests who want to test their limits on Colorado’s biggest whitewater.

Gear is complimentary on this trip! KODI Rafting also offers wetsuits, booties and splash tops. Wetsuits are farmer johns, and a splash top is a heavy-duty rain jacket designed for the river.

Cool fact: Miners in the late 1800s viewed these rapids on the northern section of the Arkansas River as non-navigable landmarks, rather than the quintessential class IV classics they’re viewed as today. Hence, they were appointed numbers rather than given names.
