The ride begins on a warm afternoon in the hills above Guiones, where riders mount quiet, well-trained horses and step into a corridor of green. Jungle paths narrow, leaves brushing as the animals pick their way through roots and dappled light. Rivers murmur below, daring hooves to test shallow crossings; ahead, the coastline opens and the ocean waits, turning to molten gold as the sun falls toward Playa Pelada.
