You ease onto an e-bike at Ted’s Bakery, the smell of hot pie and coffee still in the air, and the Pacific immediately tugs at the edges of the road—waves pushing sound toward the shoreline. The Ke Ala Pupukea Bike Path unfurls ahead: paved, mostly flat, and framed by ironwood and kiawe trees. Riders move at their own pace, stopping to peel off at roadside pullouts where surf, tide pools, and warm sand insist you pause.
