Join our One Hour evening tour through the streets and alleys and discover the darker side of the city. Learn about the ghosts that haunted Quay st, the city’s first recorded murder, the Rockhampton gold heist that created Sherlock Holmes and modern forensics and yes, learn the bizarre and true history of jack the Ripper’s connection to Australia and Rockhampton.
Tours start at the Criterion Hotel on Quay St, head towards the post office on East St, then into the alleys until finishing out the front of the iconic Customs House.

Please arrive 15 minutes before departure as we leave on time. If you arrive late, check the video on our website that shows the route, so please look up the street and find your tour.
