Feeling adventurous? Join this crew favorite as we drift dive at night through the open ocean in water over a mile deep! We're here to observe one of the largest migrations in the world, which happens every night off the Kona Coast of the Big Island, Hawaii! Witness pelagic organisms as well as larval creatures as they venture out of deep water toward the surface at night to feed. Every night is truly different, and we never know what kinds of exotic critters will show up, but it could be anything from the bottom of the food chain to the top. What you can depend on is this being like no dive you've ever done before!


Rates & Times:

  • $235 for Certified Divers
  • 2 hour duration
  • Check-in time is 6:30pm, launch 1/2 hour later, return to the harbor around 2.5 hours after check-in

Requirements

  • Proof of certification
  • At least 50 logged dives
  • Advanced Open Water Certification preferred
  • Recent dive experience preferred
  • Must be able to speak and understand English (so that we can convey safety information)
  • Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult
  • Minimum age requirement: 10 years old
  • If you have a 10 or 11 year old diver in your party, we require that you reserve a private guide so that we can provide you the best possible experience
