The boat eases out of Nha Trang harbor before dawn, the city shrinking to a line of roofs as the sea opens up and Hòn Mun rises from the horizon. Salt air sharpens the senses; on deck, divers check gear as the boat cuts toward the reefed fringe where coral gardens glitter below the surface.
