Engage in workshops designed for coach development, enjoy meals with fellow coaches, and choose from essential afternoon sessions like First Aid or On-The-Bike Coaching. 9:00 AM – 9:50 AM Welcome Address & NEYC Coach Education Updates
10:00 AM – 12:30 PM Coach Development Workshops Engage in interactive sessions focused on coaching growth, idea sharing, and best practices.
12:30 PM – 1:30 PM Lunch Break Enjoy a meal and connect with fellow coaches.
1:30 PM – 5:30 PM Choose one of the following afternoon activities (each fulfills a Level 2 NEYC Coach requirement):
Rain or Shine: This event will take place regardless of weather conditions.
Who Can Attend: All current NEYC coaches are welcome, regardless of license level. Family members of coaches are welcome to enjoy the riding.
Not the Same as the Summit: This retreat is separate from the NEYC Pre-Season Coaches Summit, which is a conference for Head Coaches and Team Managers scheduled for late January 2026.

Gravity Bike Rentals: If you're purchasing a day pass and would like to rent a gravity bike, please reserve your bike in advance through the Highland Bike Shop.
Camping Info: Free primitive camping is available onsite for registered event guests. “Primitive” means no water or electric hookups, but hot showers and portable toilets will be nearby. Be sure to indicate your camping plans during registration.
XC Trail Network: Please note that the XC trail network adjacent to Highland Mountain Bike Park is currently closed due to logging operations. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Northfield has a longstanding connection to outdoor recreation, with Highland Mountain Bike Park established as a regional hub for mountain biking since 1990.
