Further out is the JoCo Marsh; the bays largest salt marsh, with several calm meandering creeks that are perfect for paddling. Or follow the shoreline eastward around Rockaway Community park and hook into Norton cove where you'll find some peculiar sites. Several other picturesque and secluded coves await a bit further eastward.
