You step off Royal Street into humidity and history; the city hums and the Mississippi seems to push stories toward the levee. With headphones on and a guided audio track in your ear, you move from one intersection to the next, pausing where documented crimes, scandals, and political betrayals once unfolded. The narration sticks to records and court transcripts, keeping rumor at bay while the cobblestones keep your pace.
