The first shuttle quiets the climb and lets the hills do the work: you step out at a trailhead where scrubby ridgelines and beech pockets push wind against your face, then gravity takes over. Over three hours a local driver ferries your group to three full downhill runs—each release of speed revealing different geology, from sandstone bluffs above Cable Bay to the volcanic-rooted ridges of Fringed Hill.
