If the calendar view shows a green day, that means spots still remain for tours that are offered. If a calendar day is not green, all tours for that day are full or are not offered on that day. Join us for a Nationality and Heritage Rooms Highlight Tour! The 31 Nationality and Heritage Rooms transport visitors to a special setting, rich with cultural and ethnic heritage. Explore some of these unique spaces that represent the diverse communities of Pittsburgh and learn about their histories. In addition to preserving identity, the rooms are active classrooms for the University of Pittsburgh. Honoring their multi-functionality, guides will highlight classrooms that are not being used for active instruction at the time of the tour.
Content is most relevant for visitors ages 12+. All visitors under the age of 18 must attend with a parent, guardian or caregiver. Not all 31 rooms can be seen on a single tour. A selection that is available will be shown.
Tours can fill up quickly, so reserve your spot online ahead of time to guarantee availability.
Expect to walk and stand during the tour, so comfortable footwear will keep you comfortable throughout.
