About

Instructors will teach all youth ages 5-12 and skill levels to learn to sail or to refine previous sailing skills. Key goals of the lesson include building confidence and ensuring that sailors are comfortable on the water.

RS Quest: This private lesson is offered to up to three sailors ages 5-12. Alternatively, one sailor age 5-12 may be joined by a parent or guardian for the lesson. An instructor will be on board coaching from within the boat. This is a great introduction to sailing for our youth sailors looking to get comfortable on the water!

Opti: For one sailor only Private lessons in the Opti are offered to sailors ages 8-12. These private lessons are for sailors who are currently in Opti programming or sailors who would like to be introduced to the Opti before starting Opti programming. A private lesson instructor will coach the sailor from a motorboat alongside, so the sailor should have previous sailing experience.

Rhodes 19: Up to 3 sailors Private lessons in the Rhodes 19 are offered to youth and adult sailors looking to learn to sail or improve their understanding of sailing. These private lessons are catered to experience level and can range in complexity depending on the goals of the sailor.
