A thin band of orange slips across the Himalayan skyline as you stand on Nagarkot View Tower, the valley breathing out below. The crisp mountain air pushes against your face; terraced fields and clustered Tamang houses step down the hillside as the peaks slowly reveal themselves. This day hike moves from that high, airy vantage toward Changu Narayan, following village trails, forested ridges and low-stone footpaths that have connected these communities for generations.
