This tour begins at our meeting point in Nafplion, where we will travel through the orange groves of the Argolic plain and arrive at modern beekeeping facilities.
Here we will wear the special bee-keeping uniforms and begin a unique tour of the fragrant bee gardens with beehives, we will learn about the excellent structure of the bee society, how they feed and how they produce honey.
We will also learn about the history of beekeeping beginning in ancient times, the tools and the way of harvesting from the hives. We will see first-hand the packaging and production areas and taste various varieties of honey.
