Tours are canceled in unsafe weather; the operator typically offers a full refund if canceled due to conditions or if you cancel 24+ hours before departure.
Many bookings ask for a pickup point; confirm on booking since some shared tours offer hotel pickup while others require meeting at the marina.
Muscat grew as a maritime hub where dhows and fishing fleets supported trade across the Arabian Sea; boatbuilding remains visible at local marinas.
Operators should follow best-practice viewing guidelines—maintain distance, avoid feeding, and limit engine noise to reduce disturbance to marine life.
