Murray 100-Yard Range Rental: Precision Rifle Practice with Hourly Bookings

Murray, Utah sits on the south side of the Salt Lake Valley, and the 100-Yard Range Rental delivers a concentrated hour of precision practice. At TNT’s rifle range in Murray, shooters book hourly lanes on a true 100-yard target line with powered target retrieval that keeps focus on marksmanship instead of logistics. The lane setup accommodates two to five people and the facility enforces clear safety and ammo rules—no muzzle loaders, steel-core, or incendiary rounds—so sessions run clean and controlled.

The experience centers on the long-distance lane: a straight, measured shot corridor, secure backstops, and an automated target system that feeds targets to 100 yards with a simple control. Beginners appreciate the predictable layout and staff oversight; experienced shooters value the ability to confirm groups at distance without walking downrange. The price covers one shooter; add friends for a modest fee and the lane becomes a coaching or small-group practice session.

TNT requires safety waivers and a parent or guardian for minors. Children six and older may enter with a guardian, and eight-year-olds can shoot under direct supervision—rules that make this range a practical place for introducing youth to responsible firearm handling. If you can’t complete the waiver ahead of time, staff ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to fill it out.

What makes this spot stand out in the Murray outdoor-recreation scene is the combination of a full 100-yard setup inside the city limits and an emphasis on efficient, social bookings. The lane cap and clear hallways maintain safety and comply with fire codes, while a comfortable lobby offers a place to debrief. Rentals and add-ons—firearms, ear and eye protection, and targets—mean you can travel light and still get a full practice session.

Practical notes: bring a valid ID if you’re not a U.S. resident, and expect staff to verify compliance with ammunition restrictions. Pregnant patrons are asked to remain in the seating area for comfort and safety. The range’s rules and rental inventory make it a flexible choice for both a first-time shooter and a seasoned marksman looking for measured 100-yard work.

For visitors staying in Salt Lake City or touring the Wasatch Front, an hour at the 100-Yard Range Rental is an efficient way to sharpen fundamentals before a hunt or competition, or simply to spend focused time on group marksmanship in a managed, professional setting. Book early on weekend evenings when lanes fill fast, and consider bringing your own precision ammunition that complies with range policy. Staff can pair you with rental firearms and basic coaching for an additional fee. Whether you’re sighting in a new rifle or running controlled drills, the 100-Yard Range Rental gives predictable, repeatable conditions to measure progress and gain confidence.
