You step out into a damp Yorkshire afternoon and the city immediately reads like a cluebook: cobbled alleys, graffiti-splashed brick, and the River Don glinting through gaps between warehouses. The game drops a sinister premise into that urban fabric — a local has been found dead and only the next round of players can stop the killer — and Sheffield becomes both stage and suspect.
moderate.
3 hours.
Moderate fitness: able to walk 3–5 miles on mostly flat urban terrain with short bursts of standing and climbing stairs.
The activity is designed to run about three hours from start to finish, including planned rest stops at cafes or pubs.
Much of the central route is wheelchair and stroller accessible, though some older streets may have cobbles or steps — contact the provider with specific access needs.
Mobile tickets are accepted; the game content is sent to your phone when you start, so a charged device is required.
The experience runs rain or shine, though extreme weather may affect accessibility; wear appropriate layers and check cancellation policies.
Sheffield grew as a center for steel and cutlery; the River Don powered mills and workshops that shaped neighborhoods and the city’s pragmatic character.
Many local groups focus on preserving industrial heritage and river habitats; respect listed sites, follow litter rules, and support independent businesses to sustain the city’s cultural fabric.
CityDays operates guided outdoor trips and adventures with an emphasis on safety, stewardship, and memorable experiences.
