About

Hop on board our Murder Mystery Trolley to solve the Circus Queen’s murder in a fun and interactive theatrical performance. This 90-minute fantasy murder-solving tour visits many circus locations in Sarasota on a rolling adventure, where colorful characters jump aboard to add clues and hilarity for the guests. Circus-themed costumes encouraged, so come dressed to kill!

Upon booking, guests can choose to be cast in a role and receive their costume pieces, props and scripts upon arrival at the Trolley Cottage. There is no acting. You are only reading lines in a script for speaking parts or wearing a prop for non-speaking parts. In order for the show to work we highly encourage guests to participate— it’s easy and fun! Arrive early if you want to play a part!

Guests 21 and older can enjoy complimentary beer or wine at the Trolley Cottage Tiki Bar, and browse through our Trolley Cottage Gift Shop full of fun circus-themed merchandise and other treasures before boarding.

Arriving

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the tour leaves, to check in and visit our gift shop while you wait to board. Trolleys leave at your scheduled time. If you don't arrive within 5 minutes of departure time, we reserve the right to resell your ticket.

• This is a non-stop tour and you should expect to be seated for the whole trip.
• Includes complimentary wine or beer in the Trolley Cottage Tiki Bar before the tour.
• No coolers or personal alcohol are allowed on our tours. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the trolley.
• Visit the Trolley Cottage Gift Shop, offering unique Sarasota merchandise while waiting to board.
